Shri. A.G. Venkatachalam started his career with Repco Bank in the year 1991 and at present General Manager of Repco Bank. He has more than 3 decades of rich experience in banking & micro-finance through various capacities. He has good knowledge in Banking and has worked in different branches and headed several branches at Repco Bank.
By qualification, he holds Bachelor Degree in Science and Law and also a Master’s degree in Arts. He has completed Diploma in AML, KYC and Micro Finance and also holds professional Degree of CAIIB besides MBA.
He was member of various functional committees at Repco Bank, Trustee of Repco Bank Employees Pension Fund and served as Appellate Authority under RTI Act and Public Relations Officer of the Bank on different occasions. He headed the Credit Division at Repco Bank from June’ 2017 to March’ 2021.
He has previously served on the Board of Repco Micro Finance for almost 5 years between 2012 and 2017.
During his second tenure at RMFL, He was the Whole-time Director of Repco Micro Finance Ltd., from April’ 2021 to May’ 2024 supervising all the business operations of the Company.
Presently, he is appointed as Managing Director of the Company.
He owns high expertize in Micro Finance Business operations and his contribution for Repco Micro Finance Ltd is enduring and remarkable.
